Small Wonder, nestled on the edge of the Tamar Valley, is an organic winery using 100% green energy. Sustainability was a key element in the design of the new fermentation halls, barrel rooms, and production spaces, incorporating passive strategies like natural ventilation and insulated precast concrete for enhanced energy efficiency. The expansive roof also supports rainwater harvesting and solar power generation through integrated photovoltaic panels. Generous glazing and skylights offer clear views into the winery’s inner workings as well as the surrounding vineyard and native bushland.
