The Glenorchy Ambulance Station is a purpose-built facility designed to enhance emergency services in Greater Hobart. Completed in early 2025, the station accommodates up to 18 ambulances and provides a high-quality workplace for Ambulance Tasmania paramedics. Its strategic location along the Brooker Highway ensures efficient emergency response times. The station features dedicated zones for administration, training, operations, cleaning, and ambulance preparation, supporting both paramedic well-being and operational efficiency. Incorporating passive solar design, the facility offers thermal comfort and connects interior spaces with views of the surrounding hills, integrating with Tasmania's natural landscape.
