Coopworth

Bruny Island, TAS

Project Info Credits

The house's footprint is deliberately compact to preserve arable land while ensuring a generous and well-considered interior layout. Designed primarily for two occupants, it can easily adapt to host family and friends, drawing inspiration from traditional Australian verandah sleepouts and caravan bunk beds. Frameless windows extend to the edge of the floorplan, inviting an immersive experience of the wild winds and rains, offering both a connection to the dramatic weather and effective protection from it.
